We are rolling out genai messages for more delay reasons, and also strengthen the existing ones by incorporating more additional data source into the pipeline to provide more context to the large language model. One is for flights delayed due to crew connections. Did some investigations on the trip pairing data on UDH and developed some logic to pull the previous flight legs for each crew members. And the other one is for weather related delays. So there is a United weather API that can give weather related risk scores like (thunder risk scores, temperature risk scores) for different airport stations for each hour in the next day or two. Developing some logics to infer the weather reason that causes the weather delay and it location. Other than that, also keep developing unit evaluators for different delay reasons.
